The Flores Abuelos were in Town last week. While they were here we did a plethora of things:
They arrived on Thursday and got to hang out with Nico before his bedtime. They arrived with bedtime/ daytime books, clothes, a turtle toy from my parents, and much more...One thing that Nico has really enjoyed is a bird toy ...for some reason he finds it hysterical.
Friday we went to La Iguana for lunch. ( Mommy and Nico skipped volunteering at the food bank) That night we went to County Line for dinner. 3 generations of Flores MEN!
Saturday we Biked from Town Lake to UT Tailgate and then had a Party for the Abuelos at our place with other baby friends and adult friends lol. ( Gary and Sarah Parente came with their kids Bella, Leo, and ??new baby on the way???/ Tom and Monica came with Dylan/ Ashish and Kelly/ Liz)
Sunday we ran the Austin Marathon Relay. Our Team: Nico's Posse was made up of: Kelly(12k), Liz(10k), Ashish(10k), Peter(5k), and I (5k). I ran 22:09 for my leg. After the Marathon we went to Meagan and Kevin's house for a bbq. There we hung out with Everette and Samuel...Nico's two other baby friends! It was so much fun.
Monday we Hiked to NI and then Walked to the Domain. Then we went to Round Rock Outlet Mall where Nico got WHOLE BUNCH OF COOL STUFF! (Mommy taught spanish that night)
Tuesday we ate breakfast at the abuelos hotel. Later that morning Nico and I went to Cedar Park Library for storytime and the Abuelos me us after to hang out at a nearby park. From there the Abuelos set off on their trip back east...they drove to Elijay, Georgia and flew to Miami.
