Nico's 2nd Birthday Party- Glen Alla Park

TRAINS and more trains! Nico's 2nd birthday was all about TRAINS!
Nico and all his friends had a great time at NICOVILLE...aka Glen Alla Park. We got a bounce house for the Party which Nico refused to jump in at first but then LOVED IT!!! The abuelos and Tia helped Mama with all the grocery shopping and organizing (while mommy was at work). The night before the I made all the signs and decorations (RR Crossing Sign, Nicoville, and Happy Birthday Nico).

The Morning of Nico's party, Papa and Abuelo went to the park first to drop off all the food and supplies and CLAIM the one table at the park. SHortly after, Vivi, Tia, Nico and Mama arrived at the park and started organizing before the guests started arriving.

We set up the picnic table as a railroad track, with all the food in little "train carts". There were Goldfish, fruits, vanilla waffles, pretzels, edemame, cheese sticks, juices, water, guacamole and chips, hummus, veggie tray, and I think I might be leaving some stuff out...but it was all yummy and kid friendly.
For his "cake" we made Ice Cream Cone cupcakes...All the kids LOVED THEM! They got to put the frosting on themselves and could even add sprinles if they wanted. All of the kid's favorite part of the "ice cream cone" seem to be the frosting...hahaha...how ODD...lol.
